Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture (BRWIA) is dedicated to strengthening the High Country's local food system by supporting women and their families with resources, education, and skills related to sustainable food and agriculture.

Position Summary:
Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture (BRWIA) seeks to hire a Project Manager to coordinate the Heifer International Seeds of Change Initiative in the Appalachian Region (Alleghany, Ashe, Watauga and Wilkes County, NC, and Johnson County, Tennessee). The Seeds of Change Initiative aims to increase access to healthy, local food, increase household income and conserve natural resources in the High Country. Coordination of this initiative involves recruiting stakeholders, designing a governance structure for a coalition of stakeholders, facilitating the assessment of community needs, and leading fundraising efforts.
