The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and
Forestry is currently accepting applications for an assistant general counsel
with 0-3 years experience. Primary responsibilities include representing the
agency in administrative enforcement proceedings before an ALJ and acting as
the agency’s open records officer. This job duty includes handling all stages
of the open records process including receiving, reviewing, and responding to all
requests. Ideal candidate will be an organized and skilled communicator who can
respond to requests for updates on the status of assignments. Other duties
include handling collection matters for the agency and other special
assignments. Member in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar required, or the
ability to become licensed in an expeditious manner.
