This position plays a key role in the evolution and implementation of the Agriculture Program in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, especially in Lancaster and Delmarva, and focuses on creating common ground between highly diverse stakeholders such as our grantees, business interests, farmers, decision-makers and the community at large.
Responsibilities include program, grants, and staff management. Candidates should also have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in managing a program with a mission of sustained environmental focus with multiple, diverse stakeholders, with 3+ years in an executive position such as Vice President or Program Director
- Proven track record in developing, and managing direct reports to improve their productivity and capabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in relevant field
