Description
Midsized law firm seeking an Associate with 1-3 years of experience to work in the Washington, D.C. office on food, food additive, and other FDA and USDA regulatory matters. Work will include advising clients on food safety and food labeling matters and assisting clients with establishing an appropriate regulatory status for various ingredients. In addition to FDA and USDA experience, experience with agency rule-making proceedings and familiarity with matters involving other federal agencies such as CBP, FTC or TTB are desirable. Strong academic credentials, excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, a sincere interest in food law, and the ability to assume intermediate responsibility are required. The firm places a high emphasis on teamwork and collaborate with colleagues.
