Edelman is seeking an Executive Vice President/Managing Director of Public Affairs. You should be a seasoned leader with a strong public policy/communications/integrated marketing background in either/or a leading F&B company, a leading public affairs/communications agency with a proven track record of success. You should have a strong understanding of the new business process and a natural ability to find and convert new business. As a member of the Public Affairs and F&B teams, you will demonstrate the skills and behaviors needed to build culture, up-level client work, expand collective capability and drive growth. You should be a big-picture thinker, but also able to turn big ideas into action. You should demonstrate superior communication skills, charisma and executive presence and you should be hungry to learn and evolve personally, and undaunted by change or complexity. You will continuously work with your colleagues across the agency and with a global mindset and approach at all times. You will have a proven background in public affairs/policy and communications, with people management, business development and budget management. You will have a track record of leading profitable programs that have advanced client business goals. You are a superb people manager and have experience successfully managing resources and budgets as well as helping win new business.
