Carbon180 is seeking a senior policy advisor to support their growing policy work on agricultural approaches to carbon removal. Based in Washington, DC, this position will focus on approaches like soil carbon storage and agroforestry as part of Carbon180’s work on the full range of land- and tech-based carbon removal solutions. This senior policy advisor should be passionate about the role the federal government can play in developing and deploying climate solutions while prioritizing the needs of communities. This position is responsible for executing the organization's federal policy strategy, researching existing policies and helping develop new ideas, managing outreach to target policy audiences, and supporting policy-related communications and events. The senior policy advisor, agriculture will serve on Carbon180’s policy team and report to the deputy director of policy.
