Amazon Hiring Corporate Counsel for Food Safety in Arlington, Virginia!

Amazon is searching for an exceptional, experienced regulatory and compliance attorney to support Amazon's Food Safety Operations team worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to work globally across all Amazon's emerging and existing food business and compliance teams that work to build new processes that raise the food safety bar for their customers. In this role, you will be responsible for counseling on food safety legal and business requirements for their private label products, Amazon Go, Amazon Fresh, and the online grocery and health and wellness categories as well as impact the development and continual improvement of their state-of-the-art food safety technology tools for use both online and in store, including scalable solution to farm-to-fork food traceability needs. The attorney will need to have a high judgement and an appetite for innovation when advising internal teams on food safety regulations. The attorney will also be responsible for leading engagements with regulators such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Department of Agriculture, and state and local health departments.
