AALS has launched a new website, Becoming a Law Teacher, to host resources related to entering the legal academy. We hope to bring transparency to law school hiring, including the increased demand for VAPs, fellowships, and doctoral degrees in the market. We hold diversity among our core values and are committed to upholding excellence in legal education by empowering potential law faculty with information about pathways to teaching.
