Job Description:
The Office of the Attorney General is seeking an attorney to serve in its Agriculture and Environment Division in Jefferson City.
The division enforces the state’s environmental laws, assuring that Missouri’s citizens are free from the impact of dangerous water pollution and air pollution and illegal hazardous waste.
Attorneys also work to protect and enhance agriculture and protect our food supply.
Attorneys appear in court and administrative proceedings.
This position presents excellent opportunities for significant courtroom experience, including trials and contempt proceedings.
Candidates should have excellent writing skills and a strong commitment to public service, and be licensed to practice law in Missouri.
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
