USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service is looking for a Management and Program Analyst to assist with their local food marketing work. Duties include: Serving as a liaison to Division teams tasked with researching, analyzing, and reporting on programmatic and administrative issues and apply methodology to identify, assess, and improve operations; Coordinating responses to Congressional and stakeholder inquiries by working with respective Division staff and assist in preparing final documents for Agency review according to required templates; Serving as Division Federal records management point of contact and manage official records inventory, disposition and archival according to TM records management plans; Developing staffing standards to determine employment levels. Studying employee/organizational efficiency and productivity and recommending changes or improvements in staffing, work methods, and procedures; Participating in management of cooperative agreements by coding payment requests, checking documentation, making corrections, and ensuring that payment requests are forwarded to appropriate staff; and Developing and implementing new systems or administrative processes to meet unit needs.
