8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm.
Reporting to the General Counsel of 8th Avenue Food & Provisions, the Senior Counsel will serve the private label and branded businesses, providing legal assistance in a variety of areas, including commercial contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance (e.g., advertising and food labeling), risk management, employment, and other areas of the law relevant to the businesses. This newly created position will be an integral member of the 8th Avenue Legal Department and will work with other departments within the Company and external counsel to support the Company’s general corporate, M&A and regulatory needs. The successful candidate for this position will be solutions-oriented, pragmatic, and proactive in his/her/their approach to legal advice and be able to work collaboratively and autonomously.
