For more information and how to apply, see here: https://careers-poet.icims.com/jobs/6481/job

The Associate Regulatory Counsel reports directly to the Senior Regulatory Counsel and is ultimately supervised by the Senior Vice President and General Counsel. In coordination with our Government Affairs and Communications team, he or she assists the Senior Regulatory counsel in developing strategic regulatory policy advocacy and business and legal strategy, facilitating and influencing optimal outcomes for the company arising from federal and state level regulatory policy affecting the biorefining industry. The Associate Regulatory Counsel also supports the Senior Regulatory Counsel in providing compliance advice to the company and biorefineries relating to environmental, election, food and alcohol, and transportation law, among other areas, and helps supports POET’s transactions. The Associate Regulatory Counsel works alongside the Senior Regulatory Counsel to influence the implementation of the Renewable Fuel Standard, California Low Carbon Fuel Standard, and other state, national, and international climate programs and will have the unique opportunity to work on the front lines in the transformation of our carbon-based economy into a sustainable, biobased economy that will positively benefit generations to come.
