Fulbright Scholars

While the deadline to apply to the Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program for 2017-2018 has passed for most awards, a select number of opportunities remain open for new applications until Monday, September 12^th.  The full list of open Core awards can be found in the Catalog of Awards here: (https://catalog.cies.org/viewOpenAwards.aspx).

There are 47 open awards, spanning different disciplines, countries, and activities. The following awards might be of particular interest:

Hungary: Fulbright-Hungarian Academy of Sciences Fellowship in Constitutional Studies

Malaysia: Fulbright-MCMC Award for Communications and Multimedia Studies

Canada: Research Chairs in Legal Studies

Brazil: Fulbright Distinguished Chair in International Relations at University of Sao Paulo (USP)

Jordan: All Disciplines

Once you have identified an award to apply for, the application guidelines should illuminate the next steps in the process. The review committees consider the impact of the proposed project, academic merit and leadership potential of the applicant, and feasibility given the scholar’s background.
