Under the direction of the Directors of the Resnick Center for Food Law and Policy at UCLA School of Law, the International Food Law and Policy Fellow will undertake research and writing as part of an international project in the regulation of food. The fellow will work closely with faculty and staff at the Resnick Center and other researchers at UCLA and its project affiliates to research, select, and analyze best practices in food regulation from countries around the world. Emphasis will be given to analyzing best practices that enable consumers to make better choices for their personal health, the environment, and equity. Emphasis also will be given to building model legislative and regulatory approaches in the food space and to inspire regulatory innovation and novel approaches.
