About This Job:
The job holder will be responsible for following activities:

  • Assists in drafting, reviewing, vetting of customer contracts and other corporate agreements.
  • Follow up with the Advocates regarding status of cases.
  • Sending Legal Notices
  • Maintains a database summarizing key terms of contracts and other documents
  • Prepares, organizes, and maintains board minutes, resolutions.
  • Prepares legal documents, which include, contracts, appeals, closings, etc.
  • Prepares annual or quarterly reports.
  • Appearances in the court trials with the lawyer.
  • Handling of criminal litigations
  • Follow - up with the law firms regarding Trade Mark search, filing of applications if any.
  • Co-ordinate with verticals within the office regarding Labour License and Contract Labour license renewals.
  • Ensure all the agreements are updated and are in safe custody.
  • Should be able to handle secretarial functions which will include holding the board meetings, preparation of the agenda and subsequently board minutes, compliance under Companies Ordinance of Pakistan.
 
Qualifications
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bar at Law
  • 6-8 years of experience of working in a manufacturing organization, preferably in an MNC environment
     
Qualifications:
  • Must have degree in law from reputed institution, the degree of Company Secretary will be an added advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of country's laws and regulation.
  • Experience of handling criminal litigations
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Strong communication skills
