Policy Program Manager, Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems Funders

The Policy Program Manager will lead SAFSF’s public policy work, which includes coordinating state and national policy programming related to the farm bill and other food and agriculture topics and representing the network to policymakers and to the media. The position involves considerable leadership responsibilities as well as administrative duties, with continuing opportunities for professional growth and education with regard to philanthropy, agriculture, and food systems issues.  Working in tandem with the other members of our program staff, s/he will report to the Program and Operations Director.
 
 
We are working on an accelerated timeline. Applications must be received by 5 pm PDT on Wednesday, April 25. In an ideal world, the new hire’s start date will coincide with the 2018 SAFSF Forum, which will be held on June 19-21 in Spokane, Washington.
