The Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics invites
applicants for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of
Practice in Law and Land Use. This is an academic-year, non-tenure-track
position that includes a teaching and outreach component at the
Blacksburg, Virginia campus.
Teaching: The successful candidate will teach three undergraduate
courses in agricultural, environmental, and real estate law. These
courses are attended by students from multiple disciplines and the
instructor will collaborate with peer faculty in these disciplines and
integrate material as appropriate for these audiences. Contract law is
an important component of the agricultural and real estate law classes.
