Global Quality Assurance and Incident Analyst - Whole Foods

Global Quality Assurance (GQA) Quality Assurance and Incident Analyst initiates food safety and quality control investigations via tracking and trending internal and external customer complaint data involving Whole Foods Market Exclusive Brands products. Acts as a liaison with the Exclusive Brands team, suppliers, internal food safety and quality control teams, Whole Foods Market regions and stores to help bring product related issues to resolution.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collect and analyze customer complaint and incident data. Provide supporting data for incidents that may potentially result in market withdraws/recalls; including handling confidential information.
  • Research and investigate new and emerging food safety regulations and communicate to appropriate team leaders/members.
  • Collaborate with various quality and food safety teams to conduct/monitor root cause analysis investigations to completion, including providing accurate and timely reports.
  • Work with WFM suppliers and distributors to coordinate and evaluate root cause analysis investigations.
  • Provide support, communications and tracking of WFM recalls/withdrawals; available after hours and on-call 1 – 2 weekends a month for recall support.
  • Act as a global contact to stores and regional teams as it relates to recalls, quality control complaints and incident management tools.
  • Assist with recalls and/or foodborne illness outbreak investigations; including coordinating with the various regulatory agencies (i.e. FDA, USDA, CFIA, etc.)
