Responsibilities include:
- Collect and analyze customer complaint and incident data. Provide supporting data for incidents that may potentially result in market withdraws/recalls; including handling confidential information.
- Research and investigate new and emerging food safety regulations and communicate to appropriate team leaders/members.
- Collaborate with various quality and food safety teams to conduct/monitor root cause analysis investigations to completion, including providing accurate and timely reports.
- Work with WFM suppliers and distributors to coordinate and evaluate root cause analysis investigations.
- Provide support, communications and tracking of WFM recalls/withdrawals; available after hours and on-call 1 – 2 weekends a month for recall support.
- Act as a global contact to stores and regional teams as it relates to recalls, quality control complaints and incident management tools.
- Assist with recalls and/or foodborne illness outbreak investigations; including coordinating with the various regulatory agencies (i.e. FDA, USDA, CFIA, etc.)
