JOB SUMMARY:
Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen. Proof of citizenship is required.

- Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses may be authorized.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
DUTIES:
Back to topServes as an Attorney Advisor, providing legal advice, both oral and written, and technical legal guidance to key District officials. Performs legal research into numerous laws, such as Federal and States Statutes, judicial and quasi-judicial decisions, regulations, and policy directives. Provides legal advice and assistance on government contracts
and contract claims, environmental law such as the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Water Act, and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), on a wide variety of real estate issues involving federal and state laws, and on natural resources law. Performs litigation in federal courts and before Administrative bodies, working in association with the United States Department of Justice. May be assigned work in the area of the Federal Tort Claims Act, the Freedom of Information Act, Equal Employment Opportunity law, and natural resources law.
