JOB SUMMARY:

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) enforces a variety of Federal antitrust and consumer protection laws. The FTC seeks to ensure that the nation's markets function competitively and are vigorous, efficient, and free of undue restrictions. The FTC also works to enhance the smooth operation of the marketplace by eliminating marketing acts or practices that are unfair or deceptive.

The FTC is seeking an attorney to work in its Southeast Regional Office in Atlanta, Georgia. The Southeast Regional Office carries out the Commission's consumer protection programs in the geographical area that includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. However, investigations, trials, and other responsibilities may require travel throughout the U.S.
