Counsel, Verto Solutions

Verto Solutions is a professional management and scientific services company located in Washington, DC. We specialize in providing thoughtful and effective solutions to clients in the food, agriculture, and science-based industries. Our expanding legal division seeks counsel to provide guidance and expertise to our client trade associations, their member companies, and Verto staff.

Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in U.S. food law.
• Active member in good standing of the D.C. Bar Association
• Advanced level of writing and editing skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
In addition to experience with U.S. food law, we are seeking an attorney with experience in as many of these additional areas as possible:
• Administrative law
• Chemical management & safety
• Environmental law
• Occupational safety & health law
• Trade associations & non-profits
• Regulatory and legislative affairs
• International experience a plus
