MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a license to practice law in the state of Louisiana plus seven years of experience as a practicing attorney.

Drafts and directs the drafting of new legislation; may testify on the same before legislative committees and other tribunals.
Develops or directs the development of budget recommendations for the division.
Renders final opinion upon the legality and propriety of all rules and regulations of the department, and other matters pertaining thereto.
