The Corporate Attorney – Advertising will provide legal services in all areas of advertising law; will work closely with all levels of Marketing, Creative Services, Innovation and Digital; and will have strong business acumen. This position will be responsible for legal review of advertising, labeling and promotion/contest activities and will provide legal support in all areas of advertising and marketing communications.

Review and revise advertising materials, labeling and other external marketing and advertising communications to ensure legal and regulatory compliance;
Evaluate claims for products and advise and assist in substantiating for legal compliance;
Review and revise promotion and contest materials, including official rules, terms, affidavits, consumer communications, press releases, and related communications;
Advise on consumer privacy issues in connection with various advertising platforms to ensure compliance;
Prepare and negotiate marketing-related agreements, including agency, talent, spokesperson, sponsorship, and promotion agreements; and
Serve as key advisor to applicable business teams.


Juris Doctor from a nationally accredited law school and licensed to practice law;
5+ years relevant legal experience required;
Experience in the CPG industry is preferred;
Knowledge of food labeling law preferred;
Knowledge of consumer privacy law preferred;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast moving environment;
Must have high degree of organization and attention to detail; and
Good business acumen.
