- Under general direction of the ALRB General Counsel and under the direct supervision of the Regional Director, prosecute violations of the Agricultural Labor Relations Act. This position is heavily concentrated around legal research and writing in support of prosecuting unfair labor practices; interviewing primarily non-English speaking parties and witnesses concerning alleged unfair labor practices at their work sites or homes. The position requires the ability to engage in complex legal research and analysis; draft complaints, subpoenas, briefs and other legal documents; prepare non-English speaking witnesses for hearings and prosecute cases before administrative law judges; conduct settlement negotiations; and seek injunctive relief in superior and appellate courts throughout California. Additionally, the incumbent will provide outreach and training to stakeholders.
