In this position you will become a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals detecting and preventing terrorists and instruments of terror from entering the U.S. Typical work assignments include:
- Planning, directing, coordinating, assigning, organizing, and evaluating work activities of CBP Agricultural Specialists, and professional, technical and administrative staff.
- Managing national programs by providing overall program guidance and leadership.
- Participating in establishing and recommending goals and objectives for the DHS and CBP agriculture inspection and compliance programs.
- Coordinating the implementation of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) policy and other guidance for CBP agriculture port operations.
