Whole Foods Market is seeking an attorney who will drive legal compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, as well as local ordinances, broadly applicable to retail and distribution operations for grocery in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the company’s operational and business needs while providing clear and meaningful legal advice. The candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative manner with legal, business, and operations colleagues to achieve company goals, and will build strong, trusting relationships with global and regional teams. In addition, they will know when to include relevant stakeholders in projects or matters for which they are lead counsel. The candidate will also lead the Operations Regulatory Compliance team and must be prepared to be a collaborative leader. They must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
