ADM - Senior Counsel, Premises Liability / Mass Tort (Decatur / Chicago, IL)

ADM is seeking a senior counsel to manage litigation and disputes for the company, focusing on insured litigation including general liability, premises liability, mass tort, and other personal injury and property damage matters. 

Responsibilities include overseeing a significant litigation docket of active cases, handling disputes in a proactive manner, selecting and managing outside counsel efficiently, reporting on litigation risk and reserves as part of the company's financial disclosure process, and acting as a partner within the litigation and regulatory law team to further litigation best practices.

HelloFresh - Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist (Phoenix, AZ)

HelloFresh is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support regulatory compliance across HelloFresh’s Meal Kit and Factor businesses. This role works closely with cross-functional partners to review regulatory information, identify and resolve compliance risks, and support accurate and timely execution in a fast-paced environment.

Gardner Law - Food Attorney (Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area)

Gardner Law is seeking an experienced Food Attorney to advise food and beverage companies on regulatory compliance and commercial matters throughout the product life cycle. The Food Attorney will manage client matters independently and collaborate with colleagues across the firm's regulatory, compliance, litigation, privacy, and commercial practices. 

Responsibilities include advising food and beverage clients on FDA, USDA, FTC, and related state law requirements affecting product development, manufacturing, distribution, and retailing, reviewing food labels, Nutrition Facts panels, packaging, websites, advertising, and health benefit claims for regulatory and consumer protection risk, and counseling clients on food additives, ingredient status, petitions, and generally recognized as safe (GRAS) determinations.

Vermont Law & Grad School - Aquaculture Law & Policy Fellow (South Royalton, Vermont)

Vermont Law & Grad School is seeking an outstanding lawyer or recent law graduate for a full-time aquaculture law and policy fellowship for the 2026-2027 year. The Fellow will work directly with the Initiative lead to produce research, public resources, and legal scholarship on aquaculture law and policy. The Fellow will have substantial responsibility, visible work product, and support to develop an independent scholarly profile. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis — precise start date is flexible.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research across federal, state, and comparative frameworks governing aquaculture, producing at least one piece of original legal scholarship on aquaculture law and policy suitable for publication, and drafting public resources such as guides, toolkits, explainers, templates, and briefing materials for advocates, community groups, and other non-specialist audiences as well as for lawyers.

Candidates should have a J.D., LL.B., LL.M. or equivalent law degree, 1–4 years of relevant legal experience, and a demonstrated  interest in one or more of: animal law, environmental or ocean and coastal law, food and agriculture law, or administrative and regulatory practice. Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is seeking an FSQS Compliance Manager for the Avon, Ohio facility to provide strategic and tactical leadership and facilitate compliance with regulatory, global GFSI such as BRC, customer and Griffith Foods requirements. This position is well suited for you if have strong technical expertise in FDA and USDA policies and procedures, are a strong communicator who can simplify complex regulatory requirements, and are self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of building relationships across the organization. 

Responsibilities include planning / overseeing external co-mans to comply with Griffith Foods standards, serving as a member of the Custom Culinary FSQS Team, ensuring alignment of FSQS expectations across business functions, and collaborating with external regulatory consultants and industry partners while serving as an internal compliance resource. 

Candidates should have a B.S. in science, food science, microbiology, chemistry, biology, engineering, or a related degree. This position requires years of experience:
- At least 10+ years’ experience in the food industry with 3 or more in the FSQS function
- At least 5 years’ direct people management including leadership, coaching and development.
- At least 5 years’ experience with FDA and USDA regulations, pathogen control, allergen control, third party audit and GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).

FarmSTAND - Staff Attorney (Remote)

FarmSTAND is seeking a staff attorney to work with clients, allies, and impacted community organizations to implement FarmSTAND's movement-oriented litigation. This involves positioning litigation as part of multi-tactical campaigns, litigating with an eye towards both precedent setting and power building, and working in coalitions and collaborative networks. FarmSTAND Staff Attorneys also regularly engage in public speaking and outreach.

Responsibilities include furthering or leading the investigation and strategic development of complex cases, serving as co-counsel or lead counsel, engaging in the full range of litigation tasks (including case investigations, research and development, discovery, briefing, oral argument, appeals, and/or amicus briefs, and actively engaging in outreach to and participation in coalitions, collaborative networks, conferences, seminars, etc. 

Candidates should have at least three years of legal experience, excellent analytical, legal research, and writing skills, and willingness to travel as much as once a month for more than half of the year. Candidates with a strong litigation background, especially one that can be applied to issues faced by rural communities and farmers, is preferred. 

Salary Range: $96,114 for 2023 law grads and adjustments based on experience
