State Water Resources Control Board — Hearing Officer (Attorney I / Attorney III) (Sacramento, CA)

The California State Water Resources Control Board is seeking an Attorney I or Attorney III to serve as a Hearing Officer within the Administrative Hearings Office. This role supports the administration of complex water rights matters, including enforcement proceedings, permitting disputes, and other adjudicatory matters related to California water law.

Responsibilities include conducting pre-hearing case management, overseeing alternative dispute resolution, issuing procedural rulings and orders, managing evidentiary issues, overseeing administrative hearings, and drafting proposed decisions and orders for consideration by the State Water Board.
