They are seeking a lawyer to join the team on a part-time contract basis with potential for full-time employment.
The ideal candidate will effectively support clients including: draft contracts, research & draft memos and legal opinions, register trademarks with USPTO, among others. Team communication and keeping documents and relevant information organized in the firm's cloud-based app are essential.
Salary dependent on experience and the projects assigned.
To be successful, the candidate should be able to multitask, thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment, and be proactive. Interest in cannabis law and emerging issues essential.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in MN (or qualified to become licensed)
- 2-5 years of transactional experience
- Excellent research and writing skills
