Staff Attorney, University of Arkansas Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative

The University of Arkansas Staff Attorney is a member of the School of Law IFAI team. The position is responsible for collaborative development, execution and maintenance of a regulatory portfolio and tribal governance/tribal economic development strategy for the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative located within the University of Arkansas School of Law. The Staff Attorney will work directly with tribal governments on matters of governance and economic development, tribal colleges, intertribal organizations, and federal government agencies as well as the partners to the Initiative in the execution of Initiative programs. The position reports to and is evaluated by the Director of the Initiative and works in collaboration with colleagues throughout the campus. The Staff Attorney is also responsible for research, resource material drafting and development, and educational outreach for targeted stakeholder groups pursuant to grant related deliverables. This position may be required to travel long distances by air or vehicle on behalf of IFAI for various events.

Director & Sr. Attorney, Health and Clean Air Policy - Environmental Defense Fund

The Director & Sr. Attorney, Health & Clean Air Policy will develop and implement strategies on complex legal and policy matters to reduce climate and health-harming air pollution with a primary focus on the nation’s health-based standards and including action to mitigate pollution from petrochemical facilities and other major industrial sources, leveraging investments from the Inflation Reduction Act. Additionally, this position will help manage a team, including attorneys and other experts and partner with colleagues across EDF and at other organizations to drive progress on key priorities, and they will draft fundraising materials and donor reports and engage with the media to build support for public health and environmental protections. The Director & Sr. Attorney will report to the Distinguished Counsel, AVP U.S. Clean Air Strategies and works closely with various teams across EDF, including the Community Engagement team.

The Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science (AFNS) at the University of Alberta invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Cellular Agriculture. 


Cellular Agriculture is an exciting, emerging field in agriculture and food science, with an emphasis on biochemistry, synthetic biology, and precision fermentation. The candidate’s area of research is expected to focus on fundamental and applied aspects of cellular agriculture for the development of technology that contributes to the production of food and food ingredients. The candidate is expected to grow a strong and collaborative research program within the Food Science and Bioresource Technology Division in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Science within the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.
