Walmart - Counsel, Health and Wellness (Bentonville, AR)

Walmart is seeking a motivated and curious attorney to support business lines that operate at the intersection of health and retail, including “food as medicine” initiatives, clinical research, and food benefits. The right person will draft contracts and provide practical legal advice on a wide range of matters, including regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating healthcare and benefits-related agreements to support procurement efforts, business transactions, and strategic initiatives, developing and maintaining standard contract templates, playbooks, and guidelines to streamline the processes and promote consistency, providing legal advice and counsel to business partners, and ensuring informed decision-making aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

Candidates should have at least four years of relevant legal experience, a strong background in health care and/or food benefits law, an active bar membership in at least one U.S. state, and a proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $220,000
