Good Food Institute, Legislative Specialist

The Good Food Institute advocates for the cutting edge of food, especially plant-based proteins and cultured meat. The Legislative Specialist will lead the Policy Department’s state legislative efforts, campaigning in favor of the use of public research and development funds for alternative proteins and defending against label censorship laws that would ban terms like “vegan sausage.” A background in legislation and policy is preferred.
