ADM - Senior Counsel, Nutrition (Erlanger, KY)

ADM is seeking a senior counsel in nutrition. This position reports to the Associate General Counsel, Nutrition and supports members of the Nutrition Business Unit team by providing legal counsel on matters related to the flavors and specialty ingredients industry, the health and wellness industry, and the animal nutrition and pet food industry.  The Senior Counsel is expected to provide counsel on a range of topics related to commercial and contract matters, corporate matters, distribution arrangements, joint ventures, pre-litigation matters, and day-to-day antitrust issues and also provides business-unit specific guidance for matters being primarily handled by subject-matter attorneys.

Responsibilities include drafting/interpreting/negotiating commercial agreements for various Nutrition businesses including, but not limited to flavor, food ingredients, dietary supplement, specialty ingredients, animal nutrition and pet food, managing outside counsel as required on specific subject matters, providing advice and counsel regarding ADM policies and procedures, and working with specialist ADM attorneys as required on nutrition matters and policies. 

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited law school, licensed to practice law in a U.S. state, and willing to become licensed in another state if necessary. Candidates should have at least 3 to 5 years experience, ideally working in both a large law firm and corporate in-house setting in a business unit /commercial role.

Salary Range: $128,800 - $238,900
