Food Research & Action Center - Senior SNAP Policy Analyst (Washington, D.C., remote)

The Food Research & Action Center is seeking a talented and experienced Senior SNAP policy analyst. This position offers an opportunity to help shape national and state policy at a critical moment for SNAP and to be part of a collaborative team working to protect, restore, and strengthen food assistance for individuals and families across the country.

Responsibilities include analyzing SNAP data and research to identify trends, disparities, implementation challenges, and opportunities to improve program access, making recommendations for policy changes to streamline, improve accessibility, and increase SNAP compliance, and representing FRAC at coalition and partner meetings.

Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in advocacy, program operations, policy analysis and/or organizing, an advanced degree in public policy, law, public administration, social work, economics, public health, or related discipline, and demonstrated knowledge of SNAP.

Salary Range: $86,000 - $89,000.
