Roncadin Inc. - Food Regulatory Compliance Specialist (Vernon Hills, IL)

Roncadin is seeking a regulatory specialist to join its team at its USDA, FDA, and BRC-certified food manufacturing facility in Vernon Hills, IL. This position is a great opportunity for both entry-level candidates with a degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field, as well as experienced professionals looking to grow their careers in the food manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, BRC, HACCP, and FSMA regulations, reviewing and approving product labels, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, nutrition facts, and packaging for regulatory compliance, and maintaining and updating product specifications and regulatory documentation. 

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. Previous experience in food manufacturing or regulatory compliance is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food regulations, labeling requirements, allergens, nutrition facts, or food safety systems is a plus. 

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
