Corbion, a sustainable ingredients company, is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its North American businesses by providing high‑quality, pragmatic legal advice. In this role, you will be a trusted legal business partner for regional stakeholders. The role is designed to build broad in‑house legal experience across commercial contracting, dispute resolution, operations, and compliance.
Responsibilities include drafting / reviewing / negotiating commercial agreements, supporting litigation and dispute matters in partnership with the Senior Legal Counsel NAM, partnering with HR colleagues on early-stage-employment-related matters such as internal investigations, evidence preservation, and issue-spotting, and maintaining and improving legal templates / policies / standard documents.
Candidates should have a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, an active license to practice law in Kansas or the ability to obtain Kansas licensure, at least three years of legal experience, and a basic understanding of the UCC and competition / antitrust concepts.
