Albertsons Companies is currently searching for a Senior Food Regulatory Affairs Associate. The Senior Associate will ensure compliance of product labeling across multiple brands. You will support regulatory activities from product development through final packaging approval. The work includes interpreting federal, state, and local regulations, reviewing ingredient statements, nutrition facts, claims, USDA label approvals, and records management. You will guide packaging graphics from initial drafts through print ready artwork. You will lead regulatory workstreams, support commercialization, maintain SOPs and style guides, and oversee regulation driven updates. You will prepare training materials, onboard new team members, and support competitive claim strategy with legal and product teams.

Candidates should hold a degree in food science or a related field and have five or more years of regulatory experience. Knowledge of FDA and USDA labeling rules is necessary. Experience reviewing packaging, ingredient statements, nutrition facts, and claims is required. You need strong writing, cross functional communication skills, and comfort managing competing timelines. You should work well with product development, quality, sourcing, marketing, design, and legal teams. Attention to detail, urgency, and strong organizational skill matter here.
