Post Holdings is currently seeking an Associate General Counsel for Food Regulatory. In this role you will lead regulatory strategy across the company’s food businesses. You will provide legal counsel on labeling, food-safety laws, ingredient compliance, packaging and advertising regulations. You will oversee regulatory submissions, company-wide compliance processes, and interface with internal business units to align legal and regulatory requirements. This role supports cross-functional work with quality assurance, product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Ideal candidates hold a law degree (JD), active bar membership, and substantial experience in food-regulation law. You should have strong knowledge of FDA/USDA rules, labeling requirements, ingredient compliance, and consumer-product law. You need excellent legal writing and negotiation skills, comfort advising senior leadership, and ability to manage complex regulatory issues across multiple business units. Experience working in consumer packaged-goods industry or food manufacturing is preferred.
Salary range is listed as $149,156 to $244,616 per year, plus comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement plan, and support for professional development.
