iHerb — Director, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (Irvine, California)

iHerb believes health and wellness should be easy and accessible for everyone. The company curates vitamins, supplements, personal-care, and wellness products and sells them globally.

The Director, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs will lead iHerb’s efforts to ensure scientific integrity and regulatory compliance for dietary supplements and related products. This role will review formulation safety, guide labeling and marketing claims, and ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulations. The Director will work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Legal, Quality and Global Trade teams to support innovation while maintaining compliance.

Ideal candidate has a degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacology or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred), plus 7 or more years of regulatory or scientific experience in supplements, nutraceuticals or food. Must know FDA, DSHEA, FTC and international regulatory frameworks. Strong communication skills and cross-functional leadership required.

Pay range: about $176,534-$264,801 per year, plus benefits, potential restricted stock units, and bonuses.
