Farm Aid — Project Administrator, Distressed Borrowers Assistance Network

Farm Aid is seeking a Project Administrator to support the Distressed Borrowers Assistance Network, a national initiative focused on providing technical assistance to financially distressed farmers and ranchers. This role serves as the financial and compliance backbone of a federally funded program, ensuring strong administrative systems and effective project execution.

Responsibilities include managing project budgets and financial reporting, overseeing contract administration, coordinating participant reimbursements, and supporting compliance with federal grant requirements. The role also involves assisting with evaluation efforts, supporting event logistics, and maintaining coordination across project partners and internal teams. The position requires managing documentation, tracking deliverables, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of a complex, multi-partner initiative.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in federal grants administration, including financial reporting and compliance. Strong budget management, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with experience working across teams and managing complex projects. Familiarity with USDA or related systems is preferred.

Salary range: $74,000 to $80,000.
