Select Milk Producers — Legal Counsel (Dallas, TX)

Select Milk Producers is seeking a Legal Counsel to support a wide range of legal matters across commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and corporate operations within a multi-site dairy and manufacturing environment. This role works closely with the General Counsel and business leaders to provide practical legal guidance that supports operations while managing risk.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, supporting contract lifecycle management, advising on corporate governance and subsidiary structure, and providing day-to-day legal support across operations, supply chain, quality, and finance teams. The role also involves supporting compliance with food safety, labeling, transportation, and other regulatory requirements, monitoring legal developments, coordinating with outside counsel, and assisting with dispute resolution and risk management.

Candidates should have a J.D. and 4–8 years of legal experience, with strong experience in commercial contracting. Active bar admission is required, with Texas preferred. The ideal candidate brings strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills, along with a practical, business-focused approach. Experience in food, agriculture, manufacturing, or other regulated industries is preferred.
