The Consumer Federation of America seeks a Director of Competition and Market Fairness to lead national advocacy, research, and education efforts focused on promoting competitive markets and protecting consumers from unfair, deceptive, or anticompetitive practices. The role includes developing and overseeing research, drafting regulatory comments and legislative materials, building coalitions, engaging with industry, and supporting consumer education initiatives.
Ideal candidates bring an advanced degree and ten or more years of experience in competition or consumer protection policy, strong legislative and regulatory advocacy skills, and experience working in nonprofit or advocacy settings. This is a full time, hybrid position with a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000.
