Publix Super Markets, Inc. – Supervising Liability Litigation Attorney (Plantation, FL)

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Supervising Liability Litigation Attorney to join its South Florida Litigation Law Office within the Risk Management department. This role shows up for an experienced trial attorney ready to lead complex tort and personal injury litigation for the largest employee owned company in the United States.

In this position, you will serve as first chair in jury trials, supervise attorneys and legal staff, develop litigation strategy, and represent Publix in hearings, depositions, and trials across Florida state courts. You will also oversee office operations, manage vendors and experts, and contribute to risk evaluation and strategic planning.

Ideal candidates hold a JD, are admitted to the Florida Bar, and bring at least 8 years of litigation experience, including significant tort and personal injury defense and multiple jury trials. Supervisory experience and South Florida litigation background are preferred.

This is an in person role based in Plantation, Florida, with up to 20 percent travel. Total annual compensation with bonus ranges from approximately $177,000 to $266,000, plus exceptional benefits including employee stock ownership, retirement plans, healthcare, paid leave, and tuition reimbursement.
