Monument Advocacy – Vice President, Government Relations, Agriculture and Nutrition Policy (Washington, DC–Baltimore Area)

Monument Advocacy advises companies and coalitions on federal agriculture and food policy. The Agriculture and Food Practice works on Farm Bill issues, nutrition programs, appropriations, and executive branch regulation.

Monument seeks a Vice President, Government Relations to advise clients on agriculture and nutrition policy and lead strategic advocacy. You will manage client relationships, represent interests before Congress and federal agencies, draft policy materials, and track legislative and regulatory developments. You will mentor junior staff and support practice growth.

You need at least six years of experience in federal policy, with strong knowledge of nutrition programs such as SNAP, WIC, or school meals. Hill experience and Democratic relationships are preferred. Strong writing and project management skills are required.

Salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 per year, plus bonuses.
