DoorDash is seeking a Federal Affairs Associate to support its public policy strategy and execution at the federal level. This role sits on the Public Policy and Social Impact Team and works closely with Federal Affairs leadership, Legal, Communications, and Public Affairs to advance policies that support Dashers, merchants, and local economies.
You will help manage federal issue campaigns, monitor and analyze legislation, prepare internal briefings, and support engagement with Congress, federal agencies, and the Administration. The role also involves building internal processes, coordinating across teams, and developing trusted relationships with policymakers and stakeholders.
Ideal candidates have a BA or BS and at least three years of experience in Congress, a federal agency, the Administration, a trade association, or in-house public policy, particularly related to the app-based or tech economy. Strong writing, organization, and legislative analysis skills are essential, along with comfort operating under pressure.
The national base salary range is $88,400 to $130,000, depending on experience and location.
