McDonald’s seeks an experienced ERISA attorney to advise on employee benefits and executive compensation across a global organization. This role focuses on ERISA, ACA, tax law including Section 409A, and related benefit and compensation frameworks.
You will advise plan fiduciaries, manage benefit governance, draft and amend retirement and welfare plans, oversee disclosures including proxy materials, and support audits, claims, and ERISA litigation. The role also includes negotiating service provider agreements, advising on M&A benefit issues, monitoring legal developments, and communicating risk to senior leaders.
Ideal candidates hold a JD, are admitted in the U.S., and bring 8 plus years of experience, with strong ERISA expertise and the ability to lead cross functional teams. Prior in house experience is preferred.
The expected salary range for this role is $168,350 to $218,860 per year, with final compensation based on experience and other job-related factors.
