Conagra seeks a Litigation Counsel to support the full life cycle of enterprise litigation, reporting to the Vice President and Chief Counsel for Litigation. This role partners with business teams, manages outside counsel, and helps guide dispute resolution strategy across the company. The position requires three days per week in office.
You will oversee lawsuits, claims, and subpoenas, direct outside counsel, and support witnesses through interviews, depositions, and hearings. You will represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, and regulatory proceedings, manage discovery and legal hold processes, and advise business partners on risk, insurance, and dispute strategy. The role also includes improving internal litigation processes, managing budgets, and training stakeholders.
Candidates must be licensed attorneys with at least four years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate setting and licensed in Illinois or eligible for an Illinois in house license. Experience across product liability, commercial disputes, employment, environmental, insurance, and class action matters is valued. Strong project management, collaboration, and e discovery knowledge are preferred.
Pay range: $133,000 to $197,000 annually.
