Flowers Foods — Corporate Counsel

Flowers Foods, a leading U.S. producer of packaged bakery goods with 2024 sales of $5.1 billion, is hiring a Corporate Counsel to provide legal advice across the enterprise and represent internal clients in disputes. The company’s portfolio includes Nature’s Own, Wonder, Dave’s Killer Bread, Canyon Bakehouse, and Tastykake.

In this role, you will review and negotiate contracts, investigate and respond to EEOC charges, manage trademark enforcement matters with outside counsel, monitor major customer bankruptcies, and coordinate class action recovery efforts. You will support in house attorneys on compliance, litigation, employment, franchise law, advertising and branding, intellectual property, real estate, M&A, and other corporate matters. You will also assist in managing litigation and claims, including employment and commercial disputes, and oversee discovery and e discovery activities.

Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of legal practice experience and a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. The salary range is $125,000 to $135,000.
