Animal Outlook – Senior Director of Legal Advocacy (Remote, U.S.)

Animal Outlook seeks a Senior Director of Legal Advocacy to lead national legal strategy aimed at challenging animal agribusiness practices and advancing policy change. This is a full time remote role reporting to the Executive Director.

You will develop and execute legal advocacy strategy, identify and pursue impact litigation, monitor legislation and regulatory activity, and oversee legal filings and advocacy materials. The role includes advising internal teams, managing outside counsel and coalition partners, supervising legal staff, and representing the organization in public advocacy efforts.

Candidates must hold a JD, be admitted to a U.S. state bar, and bring strong experience in public interest or legal advocacy work with litigation exposure. Leadership experience, strong research and writing skills, and familiarity with animal protection work are valued.

Salary range: $95,000 to $105,000.
