Post Holdings, a Fortune 500 food company with a diverse portfolio of iconic consumer brands, is seeking a senior legal leader to oversee food regulatory strategy and compliance across its businesses. This role provides enterprise-wide leadership on FDA, USDA, state, and international food law matters, supporting product innovation, marketing, manufacturing, and M&A in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
You will lead regulatory strategy, advise on product formulations, GRAS and ingredient issues, labeling and claims, advertising review, enforcement actions, and recalls. The role works closely with R&D, food safety, operations, marketing, and senior leadership to deliver practical, risk-aware guidance that supports business objectives. You will also manage regulatory aspects of commercial agreements, litigation, and acquisitions, while keeping leadership informed of regulatory trends and developments.
Ideal candidates bring a JD, bar admission, and 5–7 years of food or dietary supplement regulatory experience, with strong judgment, risk assessment skills, and the ability to influence across functions. A technical background in food science or life sciences is a plus.
This is a hybrid role based near St. Louis, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday. Compensation ranges from approximately $149,000 to $245,000 annually.
